The most hyped pizza in NYC right now is, without a doubt, Ceres. Also known I guess more colloquially as Ceres Pizza, which makes it more clear that it’s a pizza restaurant, Ceres has several hour long lines for their pies. which are incredibly expensive. Their cheese pie is a whopping $40! And if you thought that was steep, their nduja pizza is $63!!! Yes you read that correctly, $63 for PIZZA!
Still, this place is hyped up for many reasons. Many know about the Ceres and Eleven Madison Park connection, where former employees from Eleven Madison Park left to found a pizza restaurant. Most notably, however, it’s that David Portnoy and Ceres Pizza have a strong connection The Ceres Pizza One Bite score is quite high. David Portnoy’s Ceres Pizza score is a whopping 9.2, which is one of the highest scores he’s ever given.
