We’d heard the stories about this place – a remote ocean cliff, hard to get to, rarely fished, and known as a big fish zone.
So we loaded up the gear, found the spot, and set off on a proper Side Mission. Tents, rods, food, water, safety gear, harnesses – everything we needed to camp right where we’d be fishing.
The plan was simple: mission in, set up camp, fish both changes of light, survive on limited food, and hopefully catch something worth cooking over the fire.
What followed was an epic 24 hours on the cliff, big effort, unreal views, sketchy access, plenty of hard-case moments, and nothing but ocean beneath us.
Camping where you fish doesn’t get much better than this.
