WATCH: 8 Great Eats on Line 5 | Toronto’s Best Food Stops on Eglinton

Food Reviews

We rode Toronto’s Line 5 and stopped off at 8 different eateries along Eglinton Avenue, from Avenue Station to Keelesdale, to see what kind of food this new transit line connects you to.

Along the way, we found everything from old-school burgers and wings, to Jamaican jerk chicken, Colombian baking, Brazilian feijoada, shawarma pizza, and some outstanding tacos to finish things off.

For us, this video was also a chance to revisit a stretch of the city that went through a lot during the long construction of the Eglinton Crosstown. Now that the line is finally open, we wanted to explore the neighbourhoods, communities, and restaurants that make this part of Toronto so special.
