The Crimson Tide still had a chance to win in the end but their 17 penalties and fourth-quarter fumbled punt ultimately to Tennessee upsetting Alabama 52-49. Michigan vs Penn State was one of College Football’s biggest games going into week 7. Michigan however would win big 41-17 improving to 7-0 on the season. Penn State couldn’t do much on offense, as the passing game struggled and freshman sensation Nich Singleton was held to just 19 yards rushing on 6 carries. The Michigan Wolverines rushing attack had over 400 yards with Donovan Edwards rushing for 173 yards and two touchdowns, while teammate Blake Corum led Michigan in carries with 28, and had 166 rushing yards and 2 touchdowns. Is Michigan the best team in the Big Ten? Will Penn State rebound next game against Minnesota? Utah upset USC squeaking past the Trojans 43-42. The Utah Utes fought back from behind down 21-7 to make the game 28-21 at halftime. After halftime, the Utah Utes offense would explode for the rest of the second half and their defense would force several big stops to help the Utes complete the comeback effort. For USC their defense failed to register a single quarterback sack or turnover as they suffer their first loss of the College Football season.
