Video filmed on May 30th, 2026 | Swimming in the Chesapeake Bay with the stunning view of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge, in the south beach or Sandy Point Beach, a main designated swimming beach area supervised by lifeguards, at Sandy Point State Park in Arnold, Maryland, United States. The water is a combination of blue, green, and brown; about 4 feet in depth; and has cold temperatures as if it is early summer, but still feels comfortable for most swimmers. Many people visited the state park on Saturdays for the beaches to swim in the Chesapeake Bay for fun and enjoyment, to beat out the heat from the sun or relax like a traditional swimming pool: actually, there are no swimming pools near the beaches in the Sandy Point State Park. So, this is why I filmed the video of me swimming in the bay, along with many people doing the same.
