The Michigan State student section at Munn Ice Arena in East Lansing, known as the “Munnsters,” were particularly raucous as hosts of the Big Ten championship game against rival Michigan on Saturday, March 23 2024. The Michigan Marching Band and Sparty, MSU’s mascot, cheered the team on to a 5-4 overtime win.
Fans kicked the game off with a chant of “Go Green, Go White!” and cheered to celebrate the team’s first goal.
