Konya is a great place. It is very traditional and is one of the only cities in turkey where you feel as if you’ve been thrown back to late ottoman empire. Along with that their food scene is so unique and amazing. A few of their popualr dishes I never heard of despite livign in istanbul for years. ENJOY.
