Opened since 1977, by the amazing Edd and Nina Hendee, Taste of Texas is an American food institution, and itβs more than just a steakhouse, itβs also a museum of Texas history. Today they are the largest independent user of Certified Angus Beef in the world.
We couldnβt decide which steak to order so we got the 38 oz. dino Texas tomahawk and a giant fillet wrapped in bacon.
Additionally, Taste of Texas is famous for their traditional American style salad bar which is one of the best salad bars youβll ever try.
And donβt forget their Texas sized desserts, the snickers pie was absolutely delicious.
