After randomly bumping into Norman Negre at the NC Motorsports Hall of Fame in Mooresville we go to talking about the history of the building he owns. This modest steel building was rented by him to Alan Kulwicki in 1986 for his rookie season in the NASCAR Winston Cup Series. Alan showed up with only ONE car and had two engines yet somehow managed to beat a well funded Michael Waltrip for Rookie of the year title in 86!
