Introducing Rob Robertson, the new tennis club captain at who is not so new. Rob was the Warkworth Rackets Tennis Club Captain from 2022 to 2024.

Some background on Robbo, as he is known to many. His second career was working as a tennis coach. He coached across four different countries, including as a tennis director at a US summer camp, qualifying as a Level 2 Professional Tennis Registry certified coach.

Some of his tennis playing highlights include a NZ national team gold medal in his age group, two Warkworth Rackets doubles club championships, and other NZ tournament titles in his heyday before the last three years of hip pain. Hence, due to this injury, he has not been around the club over the last year, but after a hip replacement two months ago, he is excited to be back on court this coming summer.
