I call this my “NBA 2K/NCAA Crossover” series which combines professional basketball players with the school spirit and passion of the college atmosphere. A “college alumni” version of the NBA that puts players who attended the same school together on the same teams. This format uses players from past & present to create NEVER BEFORE SEEN teams & matchups! Just like last year there are 55 teams to choose from with 54 colleges and 1 team comprised of NBA players who skipped college. I’ve personally been doing this college mashup for several years and over the past few have made the roster/designs/tutorial available to the anyone interested.
The process requires going through the entire roster and grouping together every player from the schools on my list. In the event there are more players than the 15 roster spots allowed, the top rated players make the team and the remaining are placed in free agency. That way if you prefer to swap a player on the team for someone who didn’t make the cut, you can. A maximum of 36 teams are allowed when creating a league so choose wisely. After starting up the league with my customized roster you’ll just need to download the college designs to the appropriate teams you’ve chosen to use. Once completed, you’ve now created your very own NCAA!
This is Part 1 of an easy-to-follow tutorial showing how to set it up. If you like college basketball and want something different from the same ol’ teams, you might wanna check this out. The 55 teams included on the roster are listed below alphabetically.
