After repositioning the drain to the center of the shower, I glued the ABS pipe to the PVC Schluter bonding flange and made sure I had at least 1 inch above the floor. I put down Schluter all set onto the concrete and put the dry mud pack on top of that. Just like Sal DiBlasi taught me to. I was previously using a screeding method for beginners on my previous showers, but used the Sal method of building up a screeding edge and basing all of them off of that. Turned out pretty good but it did take a few hours.
