The 2067 SNCFL season is officially in the books, and in this video we take a full look back at my SMU Mustangs season in the SimNation College Football League.
This was a major step forward for the program. SMU won the American Athletic Conference Championship, reached the College Football Playoff, and built its identity around one of the best rushing attacks in the country. The Mustangs finished with the #1 rushing offense in the AAC and the #11 rushing offense in the nation, giving us a physical foundation to build around moving forward.
But even after a championship season, there is still plenty of work to do.
In this recap, we review what made SMU successful, including our run game, offensive identity, key players, roster strengths, and championship run. We also take a look at the areas that need to improve next season, especially the passing game on offense and the pass rush on defense, as we try to take the next step from playoff team to true national title contender.
