The numbers tell a story.
🏈 About half of kids who play youth football will go on to play in high school.
🎓 Only about 3–5% will ever play college football.
⭐ Roughly 1–2% will play Division I football.
💰 And only about 1 out of every 4,000–5,000 youth football players will ever make an NFL roster.
Read that again.
For more than 99.9% of our kids, youth football will be the highest level of football they ever experience.
That’s exactly why we do what we do.
People sometimes ask why the Spartans go all out. Why the branding? Why the hype videos? Why the uniforms, the graphics, the music, the tunnel, the facility, the social media, and all the little details?
Because this matters.
For almost every kid who wears a Spartan helmet, these will be the memories they carry for the rest of their lives. They’ll remember the friendships, the victories, the heartbreaks, the coaches who believed in them, and what it felt like to be part of something bigger than themselves.
We’re not trying to create NFL players.
We’re trying to create unforgettable childhoods.
If a few kids go on to play in college, we’ll celebrate them. If one day a Spartan makes it to the NFL, we’ll all cheer.
But our mission has never been measured by how many kids play on Saturdays or Sundays.
It’s measured by how many leave our program tougher, more confident, better teammates, better leaders, and better young men and women than when they arrived.
So yes… sometimes we’re a little “extra.”
The kids deserve it.
